Lineup & Roster

How your dynasty roster works

Each team has a deep roster built for weekly competition and long-term player development.

Starting Lineup

You start 11 players every week. Superflex means that final spot can be a QB, RB, WR, or TE — and most teams will want to use a second quarterback when they can.

Bench

15 Bench Spots

Your bench is where you keep backups, young players, bye-week replacements, and trade chips. Dynasty benches are deeper because the league is about building a franchise, not just surviving one week.

IR

3 Injured Reserve Spots

IR is for injured players who qualify on Sleeper. It lets you hold hurt players without burning active bench space.

Taxi Squad

What is a taxi squad?

A taxi squad is like a minor-league bench for young players. You stash rookies and second-year players there while they develop.

4 Taxi Spots

Each team gets four taxi spots for developmental players.

Young Players Only

Only rookies and second-year players are eligible for taxi.

Not Starters Yet

Taxi players cannot be used in your lineup unless you promote them to the active roster.

Simple version: taxi is where you park young prospects you believe in, without needing them to score for you right away.
